About: Our junior clinics are designed to engage kids of all ages and create a fun, inviting and positive learning environment. These clinics are taught by two of our professional staff: Erik Nusl and Kaleb Gorbahn. Students will learn fundamentals they can carry forward for years to come. The classes will be run according to the group’s ability, so new and seasoned golfers are encouraged to sign up and continue to learn through skill building activities, games and spirited competition.

Please note that students are required to bring their own clubs. We have a number of sets for sale in the pro shop, or they can be found online through facebook marketplace or US Kids.

Erik Nusl

Assistant Golf Professional
PGA of Alberta
Erik grew up playing golf from a young age, at the Cochrane Golf Club. Throughout his youth he played many sports, including golf, swimming, hockey and football. Erik received a scholarship to the University of Calgary to play football. There he learned valuable lessons about work ethic, perseverance, determination, successes and failures. Erik is a proud winner of the 2019 Vanier Cup, and graduate of the University of Calgary. Through his six years as a high-performance athlete, Erik learned about the kinematic sequencing of the body, the intricacies of the body’s movements and control while performing efficiently and maximizing output. With this knowledge, Erik has been able to translate with great success to the golf swing, and help his students understand the importance of their body movements. After graduation Erik began working full time in golf, rediscovering his passion for the game. Soon after, he decided to pursue a career in golf, looking to share his experiences, expertise and passion with others by helping students achieve their goals.
